DESCRIPTION
Pieps MINI IPS is a compact and lightweight avalanche transceiver, designed for both those getting started with ski touring and freeriding and more experienced users looking for a reliable and technologically advanced search device.
The heart of the device is the Interference Protection System (IPS), which reduces the influence of electronic and metallic interference during transmission, keeping the signal stable even in the presence of other electronic devices nearby.
During the search, the Pieps MINI IPS offers a 50-meter search strip width and the Search Assist Plus system, which guides the user through the different stages of localization. The display shows real-time pictographic indications, suggesting when to increase or decrease movement speed and when to bring the device closer to the snow surface.
Among the main technical features:
- Weight: 158 g, batteries included
- 3 antennas for optimized reception
- Buried victim marking function
- Group Check for quick group checks
- Automatic Search-to-Send system: in the event of prolonged immobility, it automatically switches the device from search mode to transmission mode
- Bluetooth connectivity for connecting to the Pieps App
Through the Pieps App, it is possible to update the firmware, configure some settings, check the device's features, and create personalized training scenarios.
