DESCRIPTION
The Crazy Short Oxygen is a hybrid thermal and windproof ski cover short designed for competitive ski tourers or anyone looking to keep their muscles warm while waiting before a descent. The fit is close to the body, a deliberate design choice that improves heat retention and reduces drag during dynamic movements.
Hybrid construction and technical materials
The outer shell is made from Toray Air-tastic, a lightweight fabric with windproof properties that blocks gusts while maintaining a degree of breathability, ideal for alternating periods of exertion and inactivity. The hybrid construction combines areas of varying fabric density to adapt to the thermal and mobility needs of different parts of the leg.
When and how to use it
- As a muscle warm-up garment before a race or demanding ascent, thanks to the combined thermal effect of the close fit and materials
- Worn over ski pants while waiting at the summit to retain heat before tackling the descent
- On windy days at altitude, where targeted leg protection makes a real difference to muscle comfort
The female silhouette of the Oxygen Short is designed to ensure complete freedom of movement even during wide strides, without the garment shifting or rolling up during activity.
