The Salewa Ortles Polarlite is a mountaineering and winter outdoor glove designed specifically for the female hand, built around a combination of technical materials that balance warmth, mobility, and wear resistance.

Construction and materials

The main body is made of Polarlite fleece integrated with wool, a fiber that retains its insulating properties even in damp conditions. Areas subject to greater friction are reinforced with CORDURA® fabric, renowned for its abrasion resistance in technical settings such as rock or ice climbing. The interior is brushed to increase the feeling of softness against the skin and improve heat retention by trapping air.
