Find the right glove size

Whether for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, or snowboarding in winter, or hiking, Nordic walking, and trail running in summer, the right glove size is crucial for comfort, freedom of movement, and optimal performance. Only when gloves fit perfectly can they fully perform their function for your hands.

To help you choose the right size when purchasing, LEKI provides you with a practical glove size guide. In a few simple steps, you can accurately measure and determine your size. All you need is a tape measure to measure your hand circumference and thus determine your individual glove size. Alternatively, you can also use a piece of string.

1. Measuring your hand circumference

Take a tape measure and wrap it tightly around the widest part of your flat hand, just below the knuckles. Your thumb should remain outside the measurement. Then read the measured value.

If you use a thread or string instead of a tape measure, mark the measured length and then measure it with a ruler or folding rule.

Thanks to the glove size chart, you can easily determine your correct size and choose the most suitable glove.

2. Reading the size chart

The size guide helps you avoid wrong purchases and find the most suitable glove for your activity. Please note that these are only recommendations. Every person is unique and has different preferences.

The right fit

The right fit depends heavily on the area of application. Snug-fitting gloves are particularly suitable for sporty, dynamic activities where direct grip and high freedom of movement are important. They fit perfectly to the hand, follow every movement, and allow for precise power transfer. This makes them feel like a second skin and they are ideal when control and fine motor skills are paramount.

Slightly larger gloves, mittens, or lobster gloves, on the other hand, offer more comfort and are particularly suitable for prolonged use or colder weather conditions. The extra space provides more room and allows air to accumulate inside the glove, which has a positive effect on the feeling of warmth. DESCRIPTION

The Leki Ultra Trail Breeze Shark are technical full-finger gloves designed specifically for trail running and ultra-trail running, where thermal management and freedom of movement are crucial. Their construction is designed for those tackling intense sessions on varied terrain, even in windy and low-temperature conditions.

Construction and materials

The back is made of a highly breathable Shark Skin fabric, which promotes heat dissipation during prolonged efforts without compromising wind protection. The palm is covered with a non-slip material that guarantees a secure grip on trail poles, regardless of moisture. The stretch Softshell insert on the knuckles ensures an anatomical fit and full flexibility, eliminating any friction during repeated hand movement.
