DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Tikka Core is the rechargeable version of the iconic Tikka headlamp, designed for those who engage in outdoor activities at night or in low-light conditions. With a maximum power of 450 lumens, it guarantees wide and uniform illumination thanks to its diffused light system, ideal for navigating varied terrain during hikes, night ski touring, or bivouacs.
Technical Features
- Battery life up to 600 hours in energy-saving mode (8 lumens)
- Rechargeable via integrated CORE battery with included USB cable, also compatible with standard AAA batteries as an emergency power source
- Three intensity levels selectable with a single button to adapt to the situation
- IPX4 certification: splash-resistant in all directions
- Lightweight and compact design, easy to store in a pocket or backpack front pocket
- Phosphorescent reflector that absorbs light and remains visible in the dark, useful for quickly finding the headlamp in a tent or backpack
In the Field
The single-button operation allows you to change modes even with gloves on, without removing them. The dual power compatibility—rechargeable battery or AAA batteries—is a concrete advantage for multi-day outings far from charging sources, such as ski touring tours or high-altitude traverses where power redundancy can make a difference.
