DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Tikka Core is the rechargeable version of the iconic Tikka headlamp, designed for outdoor enthusiasts who engage in activities in low-light conditions—from nighttime trail running to night ski touring excursions. With a maximum power of 450 lumens, it provides a wide and uniform beam of light sufficient to illuminate technical trails and snowy terrain.
Power and Battery Life
The heart of the lamp is the integrated CORE rechargeable battery, which charges via micro-USB directly from the headlamp, eliminating reliance on disposable batteries. Battery life varies depending on the selected brightness level: at lower intensities, the battery guarantees many hours of continuous use, making it reliable even during longer outings. In an emergency, the Tikka Core still accepts three AAA batteries as a backup solution.
Technical Specifications
- Low weight with battery included, easily storable in a jacket pocket or backpack
- Single-button interface for quick and intuitive management of light levels
- Phosphorescent reflector that remains visible in the dark, allowing you to find the lamp even in total darkness
- Adjustable headband to fit both bare head and ski or mountaineering helmet
- Weather resistance suitable for typical winter temperatures found in mountain use
Its simple construction and USB charging make it a practical choice for those who want to reduce battery consumption during the season and always have a reliable, compact, and ready-to-use light source available.
