DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Actik Core is a rechargeable headlamp designed for those who engage in dynamic outdoor activities in low-light conditions: from night ski touring to trail running, from multi-day trekking to technical mountaineering. With a maximum output of 625 lumens, it provides a wide and comfortable beam, suitable for both fast-paced movement and breaks.
Technical features
At the heart of the system is the integrated CORE rechargeable battery, which charges via micro-USB directly in the headlamp, eliminating the need to remove the battery pack. Alternatively, it is compatible with standard AAA batteries, useful in emergency situations far from charging sources. Its low weight and compact profile make the lamp comfortable even during extended outings.
- Maximum output: 625 lumens
- Charges via micro-USB with CORE battery included
- Also compatible with 3 AAA batteries as backup
- Phosphorescent reflector: glows in the dark to easily locate the lamp
- Lighting modes: maximum output, medium output, red light, flashing red light
- Adjustable beam between flood (diffuse) and spot (concentrated) light
Why choose it for mountaineering and ski touring
The integrated red light preserves night vision during breaks in mountain huts or map navigation, without disturbing climbing partners. The phosphorescent reflector is a functional detail that is often underestimated: in tents or bivouacs, it allows you to locate the lamp instantly without having to turn on other lights. The dual power supply — rechargeable or battery-powered — is a strategic choice for mountain trips where autonomy and reliability are top priorities.
