DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Actik Core is a rechargeable headlamp with a maximum output of 625 lumens, designed for high-intensity outdoor activities such as trail running, night trekking, and mountaineering. The beam is adjustable between close and far modes, adapting the light projection to the different requirements of the terrain.
Technology and power supply
At the heart of the system is the integrated CORE rechargeable battery, which can be charged via the USB port directly in the headlamp, without having to remove the battery. Alternatively, it is compatible with 3 AAA batteries for emergency situations away from charging sources — a particularly useful solution in mountaineering contexts or during multi-day traverses. The integrated red light signaling helps preserve night vision and signal your presence.
Design details and practical use
- Phosphorescent reflector: glows in the dark to easily locate the headlamp without turning it on
- Adjustable headband with a stable rear locking system, even during rapid movements
- IPX4 resistance rating: protected against water splashes in adverse weather conditions
- Lightweight design suitable for prolonged use without fatigue
The blue color of this version makes it visually distinct in group situations. A versatile headlamp that effectively bridges the gap between lightweight approach lamps and high-endurance expedition models.
