Ortovox Shovel Pro Rescue - Black is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Ortovox Shovel Pro Rescue is a professional avalanche shovel designed for fast and efficient digging operations in critical conditions. With a 720 cm² blade surface, it is the shovel with the largest blade in the entire Ortovox range, a decisive choice when every second counts during a rescue operation.
Construction and operating dimensions
The telescopic handle reaches a high effective working length, allowing you to dig with an ergonomic posture even in dense and compact snow, reducing fatigue during prolonged interventions. The robust construction is designed to withstand the intense stresses typical of professional avalanche digging, where snow can reach concrete-like consistencies.
Technical features
- Blade surface: 720 cm², the largest in the Ortovox range
- Compact and manageable structure despite the blade size
- Telescopic handle to adapt the length to digging needs
- Designed for professional and rescue use in snowy environments
- Compatible with use in the team digging line technique
The Shovel PRO Rescue is aimed at rescuers, mountain guides, and experienced ski tourers who do not want to compromise on digging capacity. The combination of a wide blade and a manageable structure makes it effective in both organized recovery operations and independent emergency situations at altitude.
