DESCRIPTION
The Scarpa BT Removable Bootie is the original replacement liner compatible with the Alien 1.0 boot (code 12176-501), designed to restore or improve the fit of one of the lightest ski touring boots on the market.
Materials and fit technology
The liner is made of thermoformable Intuition material, a high-density foam that, once heated, precisely molds to the anatomy of the foot. The result is a custom fit, free from pressure points, with a personalized fit impossible to achieve with standard liners. Scarpa recommends having the thermoforming done by certified thermoformers in the official Scarpa network to ensure the best possible result.
Warmth and practicality for touring
- High thermal insulation thanks to the intrinsic properties of the Intuition foam, which retains heat even in extremely cold conditions
- Removability to facilitate drying after outings and replacement in case of wear
- Exclusive compatibility with the Alien 1.0, to ensure proper integration with the shell and the original closure system
Replacing the inner liner with this original spare part is the most effective solution to extend the life of the boot, recover the fit precision lost over time, or adapt the bootie to a foot with a particular morphology.
