The Salewa Puez 2.5L Powertex is a women's shell jacket designed for alpine trekking and long hikes in variable environments, where the weather changes quickly and every gram in your backpack counts. The 2.5-layer construction with Powertex membrane guarantees waterproofing and breathability without resorting to a separate inner lining, thus reducing the overall weight and pack volume.
Technical construction and protection from the elements
The outer fabric treated with DWR (Durable Water Repellency) repels water on the surface, while the Powertex membrane blocks rain and wind without compromising the release of body vapor during prolonged physical exertion. The fit is designed for movement in the mountains: shaped cuts and freedom of movement on the shoulders make the jacket compatible with the use of a trekking backpack without annoying pressure.
