The La Sportiva Pocketshell Jacket W is an ultralight shell jacket designed for those who tackle ultra trail running in any weather conditions. When the weather changes halfway through the race, this jacket can be pulled out in a few seconds from the pocket where it stores completely within itself, without compromising the overall weight of the running backpack.
Technical construction and protection from the elements
The outer fabric is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, which guarantees water repellency and wind resistance even in the harshest conditions. The construction is designed not to hinder the freedom of movement typical of trail running: the pre-shaped adjustable hood follows the head without slipping during changes of pace and technical sections, maintaining the peripheral visibility necessary in competition.
