DESCRIPTION
The Climbing Technology Tricky is a specialized belay system designed to clip into anchor points that are difficult to reach by simply extending your arm. The combination of the NIMBLE TRICKY carabiner, a 35 cm semi-rigid polyamide webbing, and the FIXIT locking rubber creates a tool that solves one of the most common problems at the crag: the first anchor point being positioned too high or in an awkward area relative to the starting position.
How the TRICKY system works
The heart of the system is the TRICKY LEVER mechanism, integrated directly into the body of the carabiner. This lever mechanism allows you to open the carabiner gate remotely by simply applying pressure to the webbing from below. This makes it possible to attach the rope to an anchor point even when your arms cannot reach it, without having to climb into unstable positions or rely on a partner to push you.
