DESCRIPTION
The CAMP Orbit Express KS is a climbing quickdraw designed for frequent climbers who demand reliability on every pitch. The pair of Orbit carabiners combines light weight with a robust construction, designed to withstand the wear and tear of intensive use at crags and in the gym.
Construction and safety
The nose of the carabiners adopts the SphereLock geometry, a spherical shape that reduces the risk of accidental gate opening if it comes into contact with rock or anchor points. The spring-loaded gate offers smooth opening and quick rope clipping, an essential feature during sequences at the crag.
Technical Features
- 16 mm Nylon sling in 18 cm length
- Upper pear-shaped carabiner for attachment to protection
- Lower carabiner with straight gate (KS) optimized for rope insertion
- Aluminum alloy construction for optimal weight-to-strength ratio
- Available in Grey / Blue / Fuchsia colors
The 18 cm length helps reduce rope drag on routes with frequent changes of direction, improving smoothness during progression. A solid choice for those who want a versatile quickdraw, suitable for both daily use and repeated sessions on challenging single-pitch climbs.
