DESCRIPTION
The Beal Zest Quickdraw is an 11 cm quickdraw specifically developed for sport climbing on crags and demanding routes. The 16 mm tubular webbing ensures a secure grip when belaying the rope, reducing the twisting of the lower carabiner and keeping the system aligned under load.
Two-Carabiner System with Different Functions
The system is based on two carabiners with distinct and complementary functions. In the upper position, the STAR GATE features a wire gate with a Keylock system: the hookless nose eliminates accidental snagging on flakes and makes clipping into protection quick and clean. In the lower position, the COSMO WIRE is a carabiner with an ergonomically designed wire gate, intended to facilitate rope passage even in awkward positions or with cold fingers.
Safety and Control on the Wall
- 16 mm tubular webbing for optimal stability and grip
- Upper carabiner with a Keylock system for snag-free clipping
- Wire gate on both carabiners for lightness and reduced opening force
- Green color for quick identification in the quickdraw set
Its length of 11 cm makes it suitable for close pitches and sections on textured rock, where a compact quickdraw reduces rope friction without compromising progression management.
