DESCRIPTION
The Beal Pulp Quickdraw is a sport climbing quickdraw with a standard length of 11 cm, consisting of two wire locking carabiners paired with a rigid webbing sling. The combination of the two carabiners is designed to optimize both the anchor point to the protection and rope management during progression.
Construction and carabiners
The upper part features the SPACE WIRE, a wire locking carabiner designed for quick connection to belay stations or protection. The lower part features the COSMO WIRE, characterized by an ergonomic shape that facilitates one-handed rope insertion, even in awkward positions or conditions of fatigue. The quickdraw integrates Beal's Anti-Rotation system, which prevents the lower carabiner from rotating on the webbing: in this way, the gate always remains correctly oriented relative to the rope, reducing the risk of accidental opening during a fall.
Use and performance
- Webbing length: 11 cm, ideal for sport routes on slabs and overhanging terrain
- Wire locking carabiners to keep the overall weight of the quickdraw down
- Anti-Rotation system on the lower carabiner for safety during a fall
- Compatible with standard sport climbing rope diameters
A solid choice for those who want a reliable and functional quickdraw on sport routes, without sacrificing practicality in everyday crag use.
