DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Micro Traxion is a high-performance locking pulley designed for situations where weight and size cannot be compromised: crevasse rescue, hauling, self-rescue and, if necessary, use as an emergency blocker. Weighing just 85 grams, it easily fits into any mountaineering backpack without adding to the overall load.
Performance and versatility
The heart of the Micro Traxion is its 91% efficiency, achieved thanks to ball bearings that minimize friction during rope movement. The locking rope clamp is equipped with stainless steel teeth that ensure a secure grip on the rope, and can be locked in the raised position to turn the device into a simple pulley, thus increasing flexibility of use on walls or during glacier travel.
