DESCRIPTION
The Edelrid Spoc is an ultralight pulley with an integrated locking mechanism, designed to meet the most critical demands in alpine and glacial environments. With a pulley diameter of 20 mm, it accepts ropes with a diameter between 7 and 11 mm, making it compatible with most technical mountaineering and rescue ropes.
Operation and versatility
The locking mechanism allows for the construction of pulley systems for crevasse rescue or for lifting loads on walls, automatically locking the load in the direction of pull. When the locking mechanism is fixed in the open position, the Spoc functions as a simple free-spooling pulley, suitable for setting up more complex rescue systems or for use in mixed configurations with other mechanical devices.
