DESCRIPTION
The Contour Guide MIX 2.0 are 135 mm wide ski touring skins, developed for those tackling challenging elevation gains on wide or freeride skis. The 65% mohair / 35% nylon blend construction combines the two materials to complement each other: mohair ensures smooth gliding during the ascent and overall lightness, while nylon reinforces the fabric, increasing wear resistance and significantly extending the skin's service life.
Bonding technology and reliability
The adhesion system is based on a new-generation hot-melt glue developed directly by Contour, tested to maintain a consistent grip even after repeated use cycles in extreme conditions—temperature fluctuations, wet snow, and intense cold. The glue leaves no residue on the ski base and ensures a clean release even at the end of the day.

With a width of 135 mm, the Guide MIX 2.0 are designed for freeride touring and freeride skis with a wide tip. The combination of reliable uphill grip and the gliding properties of mohair makes them suitable for both classic alpine tours and outings in fresh powder off-piste.
