The La Sportiva Bushido III is the third evolution of one of the most recognizable trail running shoes in the skyrace scene. Designed for those who tackle technical and varied terrain, it maintains the aggressive DNA of previous versions and refines it with improved construction details, without completely overhauling what made this model a benchmark in the industry.

Construction and Key Technologies

The Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsole with deep lugs ensures reliable grip on both wet rock and compact mud, with a pattern designed to quickly shed debris from underfoot. The Impact Brake System integrated into the heel reduces joint stress during steep descents, better distributing impact with every step. The upper features an abrasion-resistant technical mesh structure, reinforced in high-wear areas.

Fit and On-Terrain Performance

  • Asymmetric Lacing foot geometry for even pressure distribution from the laces
  • EVA Midsole with a 6 mm drop profile for a natural and responsive feel
  • Cradle heel protection for lateral stability on traverses and exposed sections
  • Reinforced toe with rubber Toe Guard against impacts from roots and rocks

This shoe is designed for athletes who do not compromise on technicality: it performs equally well on a skyrace course as it does during a long training session on an alpine single track. The women's version follows the anatomical shape of the female foot for a precise fit without pressure points.
