DESCRIPTION
The Kong HMS Napik Twist Lock Cyan is an aluminum pear-shaped locking carabiner designed for those seeking a versatile and reliable connector for sport climbing and mountaineering. Its wide-base HMS shape is optimized for use with the HMS half hitch knot, ensuring smooth rope management during both belaying and rappelling.
Technology and construction
The high-strength aluminum body keeps the weight low without compromising structural strength. The Keylock system prevents the gate from catching when opened, reducing the risk of accidental hooking on anchors, slings, and protection. It features a two-movement Twist Lock locking sleeve: an automatic solution that closes on its own after every opening, suitable for both belay stations and direct connection to the harness.
Versatility of use
- Compatible with all the most common belay and anchoring systems
- Suitable for use with plate and tube belay devices thanks to its pear shape
- The automatic locking sleeve also makes it suitable for via ferratas and self-belaying
- Keylock system for clean connections to any type of anchor
The cyan color makes it easy to identify quickly among your equipment when in the field. A practical choice for anyone who wants a complete HMS connector without sacrificing the convenience of an automatic locking mechanism.
