DESCRIPTION

The Trango Alpine Woman GTX is a technical mountaineering boot designed for women tackling routes on rock, moderate ice, and mixed terrain, with an anatomical fit specifically designed for the female foot. The combination of controlled stiffness and freedom of movement makes it suitable for both long approaches and challenging slab climbing.

Technology and Construction

The 3D Flex System Evo™ integrates an anatomical ankle protector that provides lateral support without restricting the foot's natural flexion, a detail that makes a difference on steep slopes and traverses over irregular rock. The upper is constructed with technical materials combined with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane, which keeps the foot dry in both wet snow crossings and rainy days at altitude.

Sole and Crampon Compatibility

  • Vibram® Cube Evo sole with high-grip compound on wet and dry rock
  • Front Climbing zone that allows for balance on small holds and edges
  • Rear semi-rigid TPU insert compatible with quick-release crampons, ideal for glacier routes or easy mixed terrain

Thanks to the TPU insert, the boot is approved for use with technical crampons, eliminating the need to carry separate footwear for glacial sections. It is a practical choice for female mountaineers seeking a single versatile tool from the start of the trail to the summit.
