DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Nepal Cube GTX is a high-altitude technical mountaineering boot designed specifically for the female foot, redefining the relationship between lightness and thermal performance in its category. Weighing only 795 grams per half pair, it is among the lightest solutions available for high-altitude mountaineering without compromising cold protection.

Technologies and Materials

The construction system is based on a redesigned sole/midsole package for weight reduction: the honeycomb Carbon Tech insole ensures superior thermal insulation by minimizing cold conduction from the ground, a particularly effective solution on compacted snow and ice. The upper is protected by the Gore-Tex membrane, which provides certified waterproofing and breathability during long ascents in variable weather conditions.

Use and Compatibility

  • Compatible with 12-point crampons with rigid front binding
  • Vibram sole with specific profile for mixed snow/rock/ice
  • Double-fit construction with rigid outer shell and removable inner liner
  • Suitable for extreme temperatures typical of extra-European expeditions and high-altitude routes

The Nepal Cube GTX Woman is the right choice for female mountaineers tackling glacier routes, mixed ridges, or expeditions to eight-thousanders, where weight reduction at the extremity of the limb makes a difference in the final stages of a demanding climb.
