DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Dual Connect Adjust is an adjustable double cord designed specifically for long and multi-pitch routes, where belay management and abseiling maneuvers must be fast, safe, and reliable. Unlike traditional fixed-length cords, this system integrates one adjustable and one fixed strand, allowing the length to be precisely adapted to the configuration of each belay station.
Technology and construction
The central mechanism is the ADJUST locking device with an ergonomic profile, which allows the adjustable strand to be shortened or lengthened with one hand, even while wearing gloves. The cord is made of high-tenacity polyester webbing, certified according to the EN 354 / EN 795B standard as an anchoring device. The breaking strength of the two strands and the junction point is sized to meet the safety requirements of technical mountaineering.
