DESCRIPTION
The Fixe Manso is an adjustable single-arm dynamic lanyard designed for self-belaying at anchor while climbing. The ability to adjust the length in real time allows for precise positioning relative to the anchor, adapting quickly to different anchor geometries without having to add an extension or modify the system.
One-handed locking and management system
The adjustment mechanism is the technical core of the Manso: two independent aluminum alloy elements act on the rope separately, allowing the lanyard to be locked and unlocked with one hand and with minimal effort. This translates into a practical advantage at the anchor, where one hand is often already occupied managing the climbing rope or equipment.
Construction and dynamic performance
- The dynamic rope construction absorbs some of the energy in the event of an accidental fall at the anchor, reducing the load on the body and the anchor compared to a static webbing lanyard
- The single arm simplifies management compared to Y-lanyards, keeping the system compact and lightweight
- Compatible with ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter
- Product certified according to EN 358 standards for work positioning devices and EN 354 for lanyards
