DESCRIPTION
Petzl Elastic Straps are adjustable elastic straps specifically designed for the LEVERLOCK FIL attachment system used on technical mountaineering and ice crampons. The elastic structure adapts to the shape of the ankle and boot, ensuring a secure fit without restricting the foot's natural movements while progressing on snow and ice.
Compatibility and installation
Installation is quick and requires no tools: the straps can be adjusted in length to fit a variety of boot profiles, from lightweight mountaineering boots to stiffer mixed-terrain boots. The pair covers both crampons, making it easy to replace the original straps in case of wear or damage. Exclusive compatibility with the LEVERLOCK FIL system ensures precise and reliable integration.
Why choose them
The elastic straps are a practical solution for anyone using crampons with a front wire attachment who needs reliable spare parts or a quick replacement shipped. The elastic material keeps the strap snug around the ankle even with boots of varying shapes, preventing loosening during prolonged use. Ideal as a spare component to carry in your backpack on glacier outings or winter mountaineering trips.
