DESCRIPTION
The Scarpa Rapid XT Woman is a mountain approach shoe designed for those who want to move quickly over technical mountain terrain without compromising on moisture protection. It is designed to quickly cover the section separating the trail from the wall, but performs just as well on challenging alpine trails and steep descents where precision of footwork makes the difference.
Construction and materials
The upper is made of waterproof technical fabric, capable of keeping the foot dry even in conditions of heavy rain or wet ground, without sacrificing breathability during sustained exertion. The overall structure is designed to be lightweight and sufficiently low to allow freedom of movement and quick reaction on uneven ground.
Versatility and use at the crag
- Specific female shape to adapt to the morphology of the female foot
- Easily clipped to the harness thanks to the compact profile, so as not to get in the way during climbing
- Sole with grip designed to tackle both dry rock and wet mixed terrain
- Suitable for technical trails, high-altitude approaches and fast descents on alpine trails
For the mountaineer or climber who regularly traverses approaches on varied terrain and wants a responsive, waterproof shoe that is practical to manage once at the base of the route, the Rapid XT Woman offers a solid balance between protection, lightness and grip.
