DESCRIPTION
The Salomon X Ultra Mid Gore-Tex Junior brings the same proven technology as the adult version, one of the most popular trekking shoes in the industry, to the feet of young hikers. The mid-cut design provides effective ankle support, a fundamental element for growing children traversing uneven trails with a backpack.
Protection and Waterproofing
The upper incorporates a Gore-Tex membrane that ensures total waterproofing while maintaining good breathability: on rainy days or when fording small streams, feet remain dry without overheating during challenging climbs. The reinforced construction protects the toes and sides of the foot from impacts with rocks and roots.
Technical Features
- Upper made of technical mesh and synthetic materials with reinforcements in high-wear areas
- Waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane
- Salomon Contagrip sole with optimized compound and pattern for grip on mud, wet rock, and mixed terrain
- EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning and efficient stride response
- Padded collar and wrap-around tongue for a secure and comfortable fit
- Classic lacing system with flat, non-slip laces
Suitable for mid-mountain excursions and trekking trails in all seasons, this shoe represents a solid choice for children who face challenging outings in variable environments, without sacrificing a precise fit that supports the foot in every movement.
