DESCRIPTION
The Salomon X Ultra GTX J brings the same technology that made the X-Ultra line famous among adults to children's feet. It is a junior hiking shoe built to tackle challenging trails without compromise, ensuring stability and protection even when the weather doesn't cooperate.
Technology and Materials
The waterproof core is the GORE-TEX membrane, which blocks water from the outside while maintaining breathability: feet stay dry even when crossing streams, wet grass, or persistent rain. The mesh upper with synthetic reinforcements combines lightness and abrasion resistance, while the padded collar provides precise ankle support without creating uncomfortable pressure during descents. Salomon's Contagrip outsole ensures reliable grip on mud, wet rock, and mixed terrain thanks to a lug pattern designed for multi-directional traction.
Comfort and Adaptability for Young Hikers
- Quicklace lacing system for quick and secure adjustment, manageable even by children independently
- EnergyCell midsole for cushioning over long distances
- Reinforced toe cap protects toes from impacts with rocks and roots
- Fit geometry adapted to the junior foot morphology
Suitable for half-day hikes and mountain outings in all seasons, it is the practical choice for those who want to take their children on the trail with the certainty that their footwear will not become a problem.
