How to measure your foot

Choose your size based on length in centimeters.

Foot length: Place your foot on a sheet of paper, with your heel against a wall. Mark the most advanced point of your toes and measure the distance from the heel to the mark.

Repeat the measurement on both feet and use the longer measurement as a reference.

For technical or outdoor shoes, it may be useful to consider a small additional margin, especially if you use thicker socks.

The length in centimeters is the most accurate reference. UK, EU, US Men's and US Women's conversions may vary slightly depending on the model.

DESCRIPTION

The Salewa Alp Trainer 2 Mid Gore-Tex® is a mid-cut hiking boot designed for those tackling challenging trails on mixed terrain, from hard-packed dirt to rocky surfaces, in any weather conditions. The upper combines high-quality suede with stretch fabric inserts, a solution that balances structural robustness and freedom of movement during foot flexion.

Protection and comfort in the field

Waterproofing is guaranteed by the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane, which, in addition to blocking water, maintains a higher level of breathability compared to standard membranes: a decisive feature on long outings or days with variable temperatures, when the foot tends to overheat. The high collar protects the ankle and ankle joint from debris and offers appreciable lateral support on uneven tracks.
