DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Tikka Core is the rechargeable version of the iconic Tikka headlamp, designed for those who engage in outdoor activities after dark — from night trail running to night ski touring, as well as camping and hiking. With a maximum output of 450 lumens, it provides broad and reliable illumination even in low visibility conditions.
Technology and battery life
The core of the system is the integrated CORE rechargeable battery, which charges via micro-USB directly on the lamp, eliminating the need for disposable batteries. In maximum brightness mode, the battery life reaches 2 hours, while in more energy-saving modes, it extends significantly. The headlamp is also compatible with traditional AAA batteries, useful as an emergency solution if the battery runs out far from an outlet.
Technical features
- Maximum brightness: 450 lumens
- Controlled with a single button for ease of use, even with gloves
- Phosphorescent reflector visible in the dark to quickly find the headlamp
- Low weight and compact profile, suitable for any backpack or jacket pocket
- Adjustable headband to fit helmets and hats
- Water resistance certified IPX4
The phosphorescent reflector is a practical yet significant detail: it allows you to locate the lamp in the dark of a bivouac or sleeping bag without switching on additional lights. The Blue color visually distinguishes it from other variants in the Tikka range.
