DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Bindi is an ultra-compact headlamp designed for those who want to maintain visibility without adding bulk to their gear. Weighing only 35 grams, it fits in the palm of your hand and is barely noticeable when worn, making it a practical choice for night running, outdoor gym workouts, evening urban commutes, and light mountain excursions.
Technical Specifications
The Bindi delivers a light output of 200 lumens, sufficient for illuminating simple trails and urban paths with good visibility. The beam is adjustable to adapt to different contexts, from close-up reading to medium-range illumination. The battery is rechargeable via micro USB port, eliminating reliance on replaceable batteries: a power bank or a standard charger is all you need to recharge it on the go. The orange color makes it easy to find in a backpack or pocket.
When to use it
- Trail running and morning or evening workouts with low natural light
- Light ski touring as an ultralight backup lamp
- Urban cycle touring and night commuting
- Summer trekking on non-technical routes
Its compact design makes it an ideal backup lamp to always have with you, even when using a more powerful headlamp as your primary device. Its low weight and USB charging make it particularly suitable for those who optimize every gram in their backpack.
