DESCRIPTION
The Karpos Alagna is a thermal headband designed for those who don't let the cold stop them: it covers the ears while keeping the head free, with a double-layer construction that works on two fronts simultaneously. The internal lining increases thermal insulation, retaining heat close to the skin, while the outer fabric promotes moisture wicking to the outside, preventing sweat buildup during intense efforts.
Construction and fit
The compact profile and elastic structure allow the headband to comfortably adapt to the head without creating excessive pressure, remaining stable even during the most dynamic movements. It takes up very little space in a backpack and can be worn under a ski or cycling helmet without creating uncomfortable bulk.
Uses and conditions of use
The Karpos Alagna fits perfectly into the winter kit for activities such as ski touring, high-altitude trail running, winter hiking, and road or MTB cycling in cold weather. It is particularly effective in sessions where intensity varies: when the pace increases, breathability prevents overheating; when stopping or slowing down, thermal insulation keeps the ear temperature within the comfort zone. A simple but technical solution for managing head thermoregulation during low-temperature outings.
