DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Toolink L is a connection interface specifically designed for the safety of heavy tools during work at height. It allows tools up to 5 kg to be anchored to a harness or workstation, reducing the risk of accidental drops that could endanger people below.
Technical Features
The system is built around a high-strength webbing with a carabiner end, capable of withstanding dynamic loads generated by the accidental drop of a tool. The ergonomic attachment point allows for quick one-handed attachment and release operations, which is crucial when working in awkward positions or with limited visibility. The L (Large) version is optimized for larger and heavier tools, with a wider attachment loop than the standard version.
- Maximum capacity: 5 kg
- High-strength webbing for dynamic loads
- Quick one-handed attachment and release
- Compatible with harnesses and fixed anchor points
- L-sized attachment loop for bulky tools
When to use it
The Toolink L is the ideal tool for those working in at-height environments — industrial maintenance, construction, work on power lines — where the drop of a heavy tool such as a hammer, wrench, or drill poses a real and regulated risk. When combined with Petzl AVAO or VOLT series harnesses, it ensures a coherent and certified tool-lanyard system.
