DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Tooleash is a tool restraint strap designed for working at height, where the accidental fall of a tool can pose a serious risk to both workers above and people on the ground. It connects the harness to the tool, keeping it secured at all times during operations.
Construction and strength
The strap is made of high-strength elastic material, which allows it to stretch during use and minimizes bulk on the harness when the tool is not in use. This elasticity also prevents sudden jerks if the tool falls, better distributing the impact energy across the anchoring system. The versatile connection system allows for two modes of use: permanent attachment to the tool via a sewn loop, or quick tool replacement according to operational needs, without having to disassemble the entire system.
Certifications and scope of use
The Tooleash falls within the category of tool fall protection devices compliant with regulations for working at height, making it suitable for installers on lattice towers and towers, as well as operators working on facades or scaffolding. Its compact and lightweight design makes it compatible with any work or climbing harness without interfering with movement during operations. It is the practical solution for those who need to manage multiple tools simultaneously while keeping their hands free and safe.
