DESCRIPTION
The Dynafit Free 97 women's was designed for those who want a ski touring ski capable of performing both uphill and downhill, without compromising on either front. The women's version stands out for its slightly softer flex compared to the men's version, a technical choice that translates into a more fluid and harmonious ski, capable of adapting to variable conditions — from transformed snow to deeper powder.
Construction and geometry
With a tip width of 97 mm, the women's Free 97 effectively covers the territory between classic touring and light freeride skis. The geometry is designed to naturally follow the turn without losing stability at high speeds, a balance that is particularly appreciated on off-piste descents on ungroomed snow. The wooden core construction with composite material reinforcements guarantees a low weight profile, essential for long days out.
Main features
- Waist width: 97 mm, ideal for fresh snow and light off-piste
- Women's flex optimized for a progressive and controllable response
- Excellent performance in deep snow thanks to the tip-rocker geometry
- Compatible with ski touring bindings for a complete uphill/downhill system
- Reduced weight to reduce fatigue on long ascents
It is the practical choice for those who frequent off-piste independently, looking for a ski that does not penalize the ascent but still offers a satisfying and safe descent in any snow condition.
