DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Tognazza Polarlite Jacket is a hooded fleece jacket designed for high-altitude trekking and excursions in challenging weather conditions. Its name recalls the Tognazza peak near the Pale di San Martino and reflects the alpine environment for which this garment was developed.
Construction and materials
The main fabric is made of Polarlite fleece, a high-density polyester fiber that ensures effective thermal insulation even in intense cold while maintaining good breathability. This balance between warmth and moisture management is essential during high-altitude ascents, when intense physical activity produces moisture that Polarlite fleece can disperse without retaining against the skin.
