DESCRIPTION

The Salewa First Aid Kit Outdoor is a first aid kit designed for those who explore the mountains independently, from snow hikes to ski touring. Compact and comprehensive, it gathers everything needed in a single container to manage the most common emergencies in the field, from abrasions and wounds to situations requiring initial thermal insulation.

Kit contents

• 15 transparent plasters in a Pebag package, for minor skin injuries
• 2 specific blister plasters, essential during long ski touring outings
• 1 wound dressing and 4 dry dressings for dressing and controlling bleeding
• 4 skin cleansing wipes for disinfecting the injured area
• 1 roll of adhesive tape and 1 closure strip to secure dressings
• 1 metal tweezers for removing foreign bodies
• 1 pair of 12.7 cm scissors for cutting bandages and clothing
• 6 safety pins for quickly securing dressings
• 1 pair of disposable gloves for operating with hygiene and safety
• 1 isothermal first aid blanket for treating hypothermia

Why carry it in your backpack

In the alpine environment, the distance from emergency services makes it essential to know how to intervene personally. This kit allows you to stabilize a wound, prevent hypothermia, and maintain the hygiene of dressings even in cold and windy conditions, gaining the necessary time before evacuation or returning independently. Its compact size makes it compatible with any ski touring or winter trekking backpack.
