DESCRIPTION
The CT Sport Chain is an innovative daisy chain designed for those who want to manage belays, rappels, and progression on multi-pitch routes with a compact and reliable system. Its single-layer construction in Dyneema webbing ensures low weight and high tensile strength, while maintaining small dimensions that facilitate handling even with gloves or in difficult conditions.
Construction and features
The multiple loops allow for quick length adjustment at the belay, adapting to the geometry of any anchor point. The Sport Chain is equipped with a CT SALTO SG screw-gate carabiner, integrated into the system for immediate use without the need to add additional connectors.
Main uses
- Self-belay at stances on multi-pitch routes and in mountaineering
- Rappelling: allows you to remain secured to the belay while setting up the rappel
- Etrier for ascending on protections or fixed points during progression
The versatility of the Sport Chain makes it suitable for both long sport climbing routes and classic mountaineering, where quick connection and the system's lightness make a difference. The Dyneema construction ensures superior abrasion resistance compared to traditional nylon slings, extending the product's lifespan even with frequent use.
