DESCRIPTION
The Giro Agilis MIPS is a road cycling helmet designed for those seeking a tangible balance between advanced protection, aerodynamics, and comfort in the saddle. Its low profile and compact design make it suitable for both daily rides and more demanding sessions on mixed terrain.
Technology and protection
At the heart of the helmet is the MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), a low-friction layer that moves independently of the shell in the event of an oblique impact, reducing rotational forces transmitted to the brain. The fit is ensured by Giro's Roc Loc 5 MIPS adjustment system, which allows for one-handed adjustment of both lateral tightness and vertical positioning of the helmet on the head, maintaining stability even during sudden movements.
Ventilation and construction
- Optimized ventilation design with internal channels that promote airflow even at moderate speeds
- Polycarbonate outer shell with high-density EPS interior for effective impact management
- Removable and washable inner padding made of breathable fabric
- Optional visor attachments, compatible with Giro eyewear
- CE EN1078 certification for road use
The Agilis MIPS is aimed at those who regularly ride on urban roads, cycle paths, or long-distance routes and want a helmet that doesn't compromise on real protection, while still offering a clean silhouette and a stable fit throughout the ride.
