DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Tarantula is a neutral-profile climbing shoe designed for those who are new to climbing or regularly visit the gym. Its wide, symmetrical fit easily adapts to different foot shapes, offering extended comfort even during longer sessions.

Construction and Materials

The upper is made of synthetic leather, a material that limits stretching over time, maintaining the shoe's original shape. The traditional lace closure system allows for precise and progressive adjustment of the fit, adapting to changes in foot volume during climbing. The anti-sweat tongue improves comfort during long sockless use, reducing moisture buildup inside the shoe.

Sole and Grip

The 4mm FriXion® Black rubber sole is the most significant technical choice for this model: its increased thickness compared to performance shoes ensures superior durability over time, making the Tarantula an economically efficient solution for climbers who spend many hours in the gym or on low-difficulty crags. The FriXion® compound provides reliable grip on resin and rock without requiring an already consolidated foot technique.
