DESCRIPTION
The CAMP Elektra 9.2 is a 60-meter dynamic rope with a 9.2 mm diameter, designed for those seeking maximum lightness without sacrificing durability during intensive crag sessions. Its low weight makes it easily transportable during long sport climbing days, reducing fatigue even when alternating numerous pitches.
Construction and Certification
The Elektra is certified as a single, half, and twin rope, offering versatility that goes far beyond simple crag climbing. The strand construction has been optimized to balance smooth handling and wear resistance, a critical feature for small-diameter ropes that are frequently passed through quickdraws and gear. The Untwisted Package system allows the rope to be uncoiled directly from the packaging without tangles, reducing preparation time at the base of the climb.
Technical Specifications
- Diameter: 9.2 mm
- Length: 60 meters
- Certification: single, half, and twin rope
- Packaging system: Untwisted Package
- Certification: EN 892 / UIAA
The combination of its reduced diameter and smooth handling through the belay device makes it particularly suitable for multi-pitch sport climbing or for those who frequently train at the crag and require a reliable, lightweight, and easy-to-manage tool both at the belay and during progression.
