Petzl Anneau 80 cm Sling - Light Blue is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Anneau 80 cm is a sewn loop sling made of high-tenacity polyester, designed for use in belays, for building anchors, or for extending an anchor point. Its 80 cm length makes it versatile in many rock and ice situations, allowing you to reach protection placed deep in cracks or to more precisely manage belay geometry.
Technical Features
- Material: polyester, abrasion-resistant and with low moisture absorption compared to nylon
- Construction: sewn loop with CE approved stitching, knotless to preserve sling strength
- Length: 80 cm (total loop length)
- Certifications: EN 566 (slings) and UIAA
- Low weight for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio in mountaineering use
Use and Versatility
Thanks to its simple construction, the Anneau lends itself to multiple applications: from building belays on natural protection (spurs, trees) to connecting two fixed points with a carabiner, to use as an extension on distant anchors. Polyester ensures greater dimensional stability over time and better UV resistance compared to nylon slings, making it reliable even after intensive seasons of use.
