DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Kubo W is a women's climbing shoe designed for those who seek a model that adapts to different contexts without sacrificing performance or comfort. It performs equally well on short, challenging boulders and on long sport climbing routes, where long-term comfort becomes a critical variable.

Construction and Materials

The upper is made of microfiber and unlined suede, a combination that keeps the shoe lightweight and breathable, while limiting the stretching over time typical of natural leather uppers. The double Velcro closure allows for quick and differentiated volume adjustment: it is possible to tighten or loosen the fit in the ankle and forefoot area independently, with a more precise result than a single strap.

Fit and Use

  • Slightly asymmetrical profile, suitable for women's feet with a medium forefoot
  • Sole in Vibram XS Grip rubber for grip on gym holds and natural rock
  • Flat construction, ideal for prolonged sessions and multi-pitch routes
  • Double Velcro closure for quick donning and doffing even with cold or dusty hands

The declared comfort is not a performance compromise: the Kubo W remains precise on small holds and maintains sensitivity at the toe. It is a concrete choice for female climbers who regularly visit the crag and are looking for a reliable model from the first pull to the descent.
