DESCRIPTION
The Kong Earmuffs are noise-reduction earmuffs with 3M Peltor® technology, designed for helmet mounting and used in work environments with high noise exposure, such as construction sites, industrial settings, and high-altitude operations. With a noise reduction of 32 dB, they are among the highest-performing hearing protection solutions in the series, suitable for contexts with very high and prolonged noise levels.
Technical specifications
The earmuffs comply with the UNI EN 352-3 standard, which regulates hearing protection devices mountable on protective helmets. They feature electrical insulation, an essential feature in environments where there is a risk of contact with live components. The fluorescent yellow color ensures high visibility in the field, improving the operator's visibility in low-light or crowded situations.
Compatibility and mounting
The Earmuffs integrate directly onto helmets in the Kong line via a side attachment. For specific mounting on the Mouse helmet, the optional Mouse Plates (#997051N00KK) accessory is required, sold separately. The complete series is available in 7 versions with different levels of noise insulation, allowing you to choose the degree of protection most suitable for the noise level detected in the work environment.
