CAMP Nimbus Lock Carabiner
CAMP Nimbus Lock Carabiner - Grey is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The CAMP Nimbus Lock is an HMS screw-gate carabiner that combines all the typical qualities of its category in a compact format: the widened pear-shaped top naturally guides the rope into the correct position, making both belaying with a Munter hitch and rappelling smooth.
Geometry and locking system
The nose features SphereLock technology, a spherical geometry that optimizes contact between the gate and the carabiner body when closed, reducing the risk of accidental openings due to friction or impacts against the rock face. The screw-gate ensures reliable and easily verifiable locking, a fundamental requirement during belays and rope recovery maneuvers.
Technical features
- Type: HMS screw-gate carabiner
- Made of high-strength aluminum alloy
- Pear shape with rounded top for smooth rope movement
- Nose with SphereLock geometry for optimized closure
- Compact size that reduces weight without compromising handling
- CE EN 362 certification for connecting devices
The Nimbus Lock is suitable for both sport climbing and alpine environments: its reduced profile makes it comfortable to handle even with gloves, while its compatibility with plate-style belay devices and the Munter hitch makes it a versatile connector for those seeking a reliable element for belaying or during mixed progression.
