Petzl Sirocco Helmet
Petzl Sirocco Helmet - White / S-M is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Sirocco is one of the lightest helmets available on the market for climbing and mountaineering: weighing only 170 grams, you'll barely notice it on your head, even on the longest and most demanding outings.
Construction and Protection
The structure is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) with a polycarbonate shell, a combination that ensures high impact resistance while keeping weight to an absolute minimum. The wrap-around design with a lowered shell over the occipital area extends protective coverage to the back of the head, an area often overlooked in ultra-light helmets. The CE EN 12492 certification confirms compliance with European standards for mountaineering helmets.
Fit and Ventilation
- Centerfit adjustment system for quick and precise fitting on any head circumference
- Adjustable side straps with an occipital buckle for a stable fit even with a balaclava or hat
- Large ventilation openings that promote air circulation during prolonged exertion on a climb or at altitude
- Compatible with Petzl headlamps thanks to integrated supports
The Sirocco is the most logical choice for those tackling long routes, alpine ridges, or multi-pitch sport climbing where every gram in the pack — and on the head — makes a concrete difference in energy management.
