DESCRIPTION
Kong Ear Muffs are a mounting accessory designed specifically for the Kong MOUSE helmet, intended for those who need to integrate hearing protection or radio communication during high-altitude activities or in industrial and rescue contexts.
Construction and compatibility
The kit consists of a pair of high-strength nylon mounts, which can be attached directly to the shell of the MOUSE helmet using the factory-pre-drilled holes and the screws included in the package. The snap-fit system allows for quick and secure mounting of the ear cups, while also ensuring easy removal when they are not needed.
Use and versatility
The attachment mechanism is designed to be compatible with most noise-cancelling headphones and radios on the market, thus offering flexibility in choosing the hearing device to pair with it. This solution is particularly useful in high-noise environments or in team operations that require continuous communication, such as high-altitude construction sites, alpine rescue, or rope work, where maintaining head protection without sacrificing communication is a concrete operational priority.
