DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Capitan E is Black Diamond's toughest and longest-lasting helmet, designed for climbing and mountaineering. It offers enhanced side and rear protection and a comfortable, snug fit all day long.
The two-piece shell combines a rigid EPS top section that absorbs energy with softer, semi-rigid EPP side panels: this allows the Capitan E to meet the new UIAA requirements for side and rear protection. It is made with 30% recycled materials.
The vents ensure good ventilation in warm weather, the low-profile adjustment system lets you find the right fit, and the front headlamp mounts with rear elastic keep the light secure when climbing in the dark.
