DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Mosquito is the lightest harness ever produced by the British brand, designed specifically for sport climbing and those seeking maximum performance without sacrificing comfort. With its minimal weight, the Mosquito meets the needs of climbers who want to eliminate every superfluous gram from their gear, while maintaining a precise and secure fit.
Construction and materials
The waistbelt features an advanced laminated construction that integrates an internal load-bearing fabric designed to distribute the load evenly across the entire contact surface, reducing pressure points during rests and falls. This technology allows for a reduction in overall weight without compromising the load-bearing structure necessary for safety. The elasticated leg loops dynamically adapt to body movements, ensuring freedom of action even in the most technical sequences on slabs or overhangs.
Technical features
- Ultra-light harness – the lightest in the Wild Country range
- Laminated waistbelt with internal load-bearing fabric for optimal load distribution
- Elasticated leg loops for complete freedom of movement
- Intended use: sport climbing
- CE EN 12277 certification (Type C harness)
The Mosquito is the ideal choice for crag sessions where gear weight impacts performance, or for those who want to reduce bulk in their backpack during approaches. Its anatomical fit makes it suitable for extended use without fatigue.
